IP Alarm Receiver

The IP Alarm Receiver  is a key part of the Terrier IP alarm signalling system, which is a secure closed network and a transport for alarm messages going to the monitoring centre’s automation system.

The receiver runs on a Linux server with a User Interface so that Monitoring Centre staff can view the status of connections, interrogate them and even send control messages to them. The receiver is responsible for monitoring all the connections and for raising alarms should any fail.
